Le Petit Chef in the footsteps of Marco Polo
An animated 3D projection mapped show for diners at The Ritz in Abu Dhabi and World Trade Center Club in Dubai using 29x HD28DSE Full HD projectors and BrightSign media players.
‘Le Petit Chef in the footsteps of Marco Polo’ is a two hour dining show that tells the story of how the world’s smallest chef followed the route of Marco Polo. The show’s 6 course menu takes the guest along a culinary journey across the regions visited by the legendry traveler. The unparalleled 3D show is complimented by a unique gastronomic experience full of fun and surprises. Diners engage in a 5 senses spectacle as they savor the tastes of the story along its sights, sounds and aromas. The 3D mapping concept that has been live since 2015 uses animated optical illusion techniques to project a little chef cooking on your plate. The concept had been created by two Belgian artists: Filip Sterckx and Antoon Verbeeck (http://www.skullmapping.com), who teamed up with entrepreneur and concept creator Nadine Beshir to offer a unique new dining experience to the market.

The Sharjah Light Festival is back with 11 nights of colourful displays
The festival kicks off next month
There’s a dazzling projection art event coming to Sharjah.
Sharjah Light Festival is returning for 2022 with 11 nights of colourful projections and music. If this year is anything like previous festivals, our eyes are in for a treat.
The colourful festival is the first and only of its kind in the region and has been running for over ten years. It attracts thousands of visitors to up to 20 locations in Sharjah each year. The designs are inspired by local culture, stories and traditions.
The 2022 Sharjah Light Festival goes from February 9 to February 20 and is organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.
The festival brings a kaleidoscope of creative lights and colour to Sharjah’s architecture. Diverse locations are featured during the annual show, with light and sound spectacles that transform them. (Have your camera ready.) The festival uses energy-saving lighting technology and all the lights and projectors used have passed certification for environmental compliance.
